WP3: Scenarios

Objectives
1. Build common ground.
2. Define the requirements in terms of a set of use cases.
3. Design and development of educational scenarios.
4. Assessment and selection of existing language technology based tools and components.

Description of work
This work package is responsible for two heavily intertwined tasks critical for the overall project, i.e. to create a detailed common understanding (or common ground) between the partners and to translate this common understanding into use cases and pedagogically sound scenarios that can steer the design and development work in WP4, 5 and 6; the validation in WP7; and guide the further uptake of the results of LTfLL. In addition, this WP will be responsible for an assessment and selection of existing language technology based tools and resources that can be used for personal competence development. Together with the services developed by LTfLL they will form a ‘repository’ that can be activated and depending of the scenarios applicable. The WP will follow an iterative approach, each iteration in-time with the developments of the other WPs.
