Austria and Bit Training Centres Ltd. It unites the advantages of a comprehensive range of high quality multimedia products, contents and services such as pedagogical expertise, authoring tools, learning management systems, brokerage services, test and evaluation platforms, collaborative learning, learning communities and a wide range of high quality, multi-lingual content. 15.000 digital courses per year are provided to individual persons, schools, universities as well as to companies and public organizations. BIT MEDIA is strongly positioned in EC-projects for the achievement of the Lisbon strategy i2010 in new technologies, media, culture, education and innovation. The combination of highly innovative technological solutions in advanced digital audiovisual content and context dependent searching, rich media content aggregation technologies and the network of training centres enable Bit Media to monitor software integration, system usability testing, evaluation of prototype performance, user requirements and professional training activities. Projects address diverse use contexts (Education, Training, Workplace-Learning etc) and heterogeneous target groups. Bit Media has been working with large ranges of user groups and profiles and therefore masters today highly professional and user friendly approaches for identifying their requirements, their differentiations and leading them to a sustainable commitment. BIT MEDIA offers professional marketing and PR, business and deployment oriented teams for transforming research into marketable services and applications. Bit Media has subsidiaries and partner companies in Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Western Balkan countries. Bit Media will focus on the 4 related tasks Infrastructure, Scenarios, Validation and Dissemination, Training and Exploitation. The contributions to the first three tasks fits with and is justified by the expertise Bit Media has built up through many of its highly relevant projects. Moreover, Bit Media will have the lead in WP8 Dissemination, Training and Exploitation. This closely fits with their experience with working with large ranges of user groups and their abilities in PR, marketing and experience on how to transform research into marketable services. |
